About Birdrangers

Birdrangers is operated by Monica & Simon Clayton. Based at Gibraltar Reserve in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, Australia.

Our guides are well known local birders & ecologists, with extensive field experience in the region.

Our aim is to cultivate interest in birdwatching and biodiversity. We provide tours for small groups or individuals, observing and experiencing the diverse fauna & flora of the region.

Monica & Simon have been birding together since 1998. Simon has over 20 years birding & field study experience and has banded/ringed several thousand birds, in the UK. Monica has many years experience in the travel & tourism industry. Together they have been birding in Australia, South Korea, UK, New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Russia and the South Pacific Ocean.

In 2003 they purchased high conservation value land, and established it as a Wildlife Refuge.

Research & Conservation is our main focus.
