On Tour:    Data Collection & Surveys

Significant fauna & flora discovered on a tour will be recorded and data submitted to a national atlas and databases. This assists environmental impact assessments and provides important information about our ecosystems & species.

 

Bird species we'll pay most attention to in this regard will be those considered threatened or endangered.

 

 

On the ground:    Gibraltar Reserve

At Gibraltar Reserve, we manage for the benefit of the extensive biodiversity present.

19 species of bird recorded are listed under the NSW Threatened Species Act. There are ongoing surveys & research.
